Loggy ("we," "us," "our," or the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS fitness and nutrition tracking application.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the App.
When you grant permission, Loggy reads from Apple HealthKit:
You control what data Loggy accesses. You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Loggy.
We do not store HealthKit data on our servers. All health data remains on your device only.

When you edit a food's nutrition (e.g., "this apple has 95 kcal, not 82"), you can choose to share that correction with other Loggy users. This is opt-in via an onboarding consent screen.

You can revoke consent anytime in Settings → Data & Integrations. Previously shared corrections remain in the database but no new corrections will be sent.
We collect limited technical data:
Loggy uses the Open Food Facts database (https://openfoodfacts.org) to provide ~139,000 UK food items and their nutrition.
Open Food Facts data is licensed under CC BY 4.0. You can use and modify this data freely, provided you attribute Open Food Facts.
If you request an "AI estimate," Loggy uses the DeepSeek API to analyze a food description and return estimated nutrition.
What is sent to DeepSeek: Your text description of a food (e.g., "4 scrambled eggs with butter")
Not sent: Your identity, health data, previous logs, or location
